Asscher-cut moissanite loose stones, sold by the carat at a flat $26/ct — D colour, VVS clarity, square step-cut with clipped corners. Face-up an asscher shows the concentric "windmill" of a step cut through a wide open table, which is why clarity matters here as much as in an emerald cut: every stone is checked by hand under a loupe and rejected for any visible inclusion.

Setting notes: the clipped corners take the prongs, so a four-prong head or a bezel works without V-prongs. An asscher is cut deep, so at 1 ct it measures 6×6 mm — smaller face-up than a 6.5 mm round of the same weight; order by the millimetre if the mount already exists.
