Halos on 1.5 ct centres

A 7.5 mm (1.5 ct) round centre takes about 21 stones at 1.3 mm; a 6.5 mm centre about 19. If you are matching an existing halo rather than designing fresh, measure one stone with a gauge — the halo page explains why production halos often run a size off the proportion rule.

1.3 mm sits between two very common sizes, which is exactly why calibration matters here: a "1.3" bag pulled from mixed production is often 1.2s and 1.4s in a ratio, and the row shows it.
