Setting notes

Ovals seat easily — no points to protect — so four claws or a bezel both work; claws at the ends give the most secure hold. Watch the bow-tie: a well-cut oval shows only a faint one, and consistency across a row depends on every stone being cut to the same proportions, which is what a single matched lot gives you. For pairs, order both stones in one order and note "matched pair"; they are sorted together from the same lot.
