Marquise melee sizes and per-stone prices

All five sizes hold a 2:1 length-to-width ratio, so a row of mixed sizes still reads as one family. Need a marquise above 7×3.5 mm, or a size between these steps? It is cut to order in about 7 days — message Leilei with the millimetre spec.

Where marquise melee is used

• Navette and leaf motifs — the pointed ends give a petal or leaf outline without extra metalwork.
• Side stones beside oval, marquise and pear centres, usually as a matched pair at 4×2 or 5×2.5 mm.
• East–west accents in bands and shoulders, where a 2:1 marquise fills a longer seat than a round of the same width.
• Halos on marquise centres, following the outline more cleanly than rounds at the tips.

Setting notes

The points are the vulnerable part of a marquise: a V-prong or a tip-covering bezel protects them, and the seat should support the stone at the belly rather than the tips.
